How to Watch PBA Bowling Without Cable in 2026
If you're a bowling fan and you want to cut the cord — or you already have, or you've never had cable to begin with — don't worry. You've still got plenty of great options to catch all the PBA Tour action in 2026.
In this guide, the team at A Faster PC — a managed services provider serving Florida's Treasure Coast, Space Coast, and South Florida — walks you through every way you can watch professional bowling without a cable subscription.
The Best Free Option: The CW Network
Let's start with the best free option: the CW network. In 2026, the CW is airing ten weeks of PBA Tour action on Sundays completely free. This includes events like the Pilgrim's PBA Ohio Classic, the Surfside PBA New York Classic, the PBA Tournament of Champions, and more.
Here's the great part — you don't need cable to watch the CW. You can watch it for free in several ways.
On your computer: Go to CWTV.com and stream it right in your browser. No login. No subscription required.
On your smartphone or tablet: Download the free CW app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and watch from anywhere.
On your TV via a streaming device: The CW app is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Firestick, Google TV, and Apple TV. Just search for "CW" in your device's app store, download it, and you're good to go. All of it is free.
Use a Free HD Antenna to Watch the CW and CBS
You can also use a free HD antenna to pick up your CW affiliate over the air and watch it just like traditional TV. The FCC has a website where you can enter your zip code to see whether the CW is available in your area — we'll link to it below.
Signal strength is color-coded on the FCC site:
- Green — strong signal
- Yellow — moderate signal
- Orange — weak signal
- Red/Pink — no signal
In many areas across Florida's Treasure Coast and South Florida, viewers can pick up ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, Fox, ION, and independent channels over the air with the right antenna.
A note on antenna types: Some broadcast bands are UHF and some are Hi-V (VHF High). When buying an antenna, make sure it's capable of picking up both formats.
For the best reception, we recommend an outdoor antenna mounted on a 20-foot pole. If that's not an option, you can move an outdoor antenna outside only when watching, or angle it through a window. Using it in your attic or indoors will work too, though signal quality will be lower. If you live close enough to the broadcast tower, an indoor antenna may be all you need.
BowlTV: Full PBA Tour Streaming Coverage
If you want the most comprehensive coverage possible, check out BowlTV. BowlTV is the official streaming platform of the USBC and the PBA. It streams every single PBA tournament event — qualifying rounds, match play, you name it — except for a few finals that air on TV.
You can subscribe monthly or annually. It's the best way to catch the full tournament experience from start to finish.
CBS and Paramount+: Major PBA Events in 2026
You can also watch some of the biggest PBA events on CBS and Paramount+. The big news for 2026 is that the PBA has expanded its coverage on both platforms.
The PBA World Series of Bowling and the brand new PBA Commissioner's Cup are both airing on CBS and streaming live on Paramount Plus.
If you already have a Paramount Plus subscription, you're covered for these major events. And if you have a Walmart Plus subscription, you can get Paramount Plus for free — we have a separate video on exactly how to do that.
Live TV Streaming Services: Cable TV Substitute Packages
You can also subscribe to — or sign up for a free trial of — a live TV streaming service. These are what we call cable TV substitute packages:
- FuboTV
- YouTube TV
- Hulu + Live TV
- Sling TV
- DirecTV Stream
All of these services work on a computer, smartphone, tablet, Roku, Fire TV, Firestick, Google TV, and Apple TV. So no matter what device you're using, you're covered.
The PBA YouTube Channel: Free Highlights and Replays
Don't forget about the PBA's official YouTube channel. It's completely free and packed with tournament highlights, classic matches, player content, and more. In many cases, you'll be able to watch large portions of matches — not live, but in replay — completely free on YouTube.
It's a great way to stay connected to the sport even between live events. Just search "PBA" on YouTube or go to YouTube.com/PBA.
Bonus: Born to Bowl on HBO and Max
Here's a bonus for bowling fans. There's an HBO original docuseries called Born to Bowl airing right now. New episodes are dropping on Monday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern Time on HBO, and they're available to stream on Max. If you love the sport, this one is definitely worth watching.
